🎙️ Come for the cars, stay for the stars

In today's LNKscoop...

Good morning! Rebel yell ringing in your ears this morning? To my friends who got to experience Billy Idol rocking out at Pinewood Bowl last night, I'm a tad jealous. As I’m up putting this email together, faint echoes of "White Wedding" reverberate through the night sky.

If you attended the show and you're feeling generous, feel free to share some photos from the night and maybe a few will be featured in next week's scoop!

In today’s LNKscoop:

  • 5 ladies, one 20-ton airplane

  • Cars, stars, and tacos too

  • New scoop in town

Let’s dive in.

The Digestibles

There’s A New Scoop In Town

And I’m not talking about LNKscoop. This one’s edible and it’s called The Waffle Cone.

Owned by Cinthya Espinosa and her chef husband, this shop is their love letter to all things ice cream. Cinthya has always dreamed of being a business owner, and her love for ice cream has always been second to none. When she got the opportunity to combine the two, the stars aligned (or should I say scoops aligned). They offer 24 delicious flavors of premium ice cream, with new options popping up every month. Classics like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry are always available, but they say their unique monthly creations are what set them apart.

“Our ice cream nachos—three scoops of ice cream of your choice, waffle cone chips, topped with any toppings we offer—are pretty popular,” Espinosa said.

The Waffle Cone is open Monday—Sunday 12 PM to 10 PM

Stop by 311 N 8th Street and grab a scoop—or three.
